Welcome to the website of the Research Laboratory LEM, Lille Economy and Management.

The LEM is a mixed research entity (n°9221) comprising the CNRS, Université de Lille and the IESEG School of Mangement and a partnership with the Université d’Artois and the Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale.

The research conducted by the LEM is pluri-disciplinary. It is both theoretical and applied; the members of the LEM respond to the needs of economic and social area. The research carried out by the LEM is often a response to important societal questions which is attested to by our collaboration with the “ANR” Agence Nationale de la Recherche, (The national reseach agency), “INCA” l’Institut National du Cancer, (The national cancer institute), la Cours des Comptes (Controller and Auditor General), the Metropole of Lille, MEL, and other partners.

While browsing our website, you will discover that the LEM is a young and dynamic laboratory, strongly ambitious and turned towards the international scene. The LEM has an established reputation in the field. The exceptional quality of the work produced by the LEM
has been described by the HCERES as “among the best units of economy-management in France and its scientific production has been labelled “excellent”.
